If you google Breast Health, what you will find is virtually nothing about the subject. Why is this? It seems as though the majority of the messages regarding breasts revolve around cancer or breast problems. Looking at the Webster definition of breasts ..
Let’s change this. For the last 20 years I have been in practice, I have struggled with how to support clients with breast health and challenges and I, too, have had challenges with my own breasts. What keeps me awake at night is the thought that there has to be a better way to work with our breasts than what is offered to women at this time.
Here are the most frequently asked questions about breasts that I have gathered:
1. How can I actually help my breasts?
2, My breasts are fibrous and I don’t know how to help them. Are there things I can actually do to help them?
3. How can I prevent cancer?
4. I want to know how to touch my breasts.
5. I never knew breasts contain energy. How does that work?
The defining moment for me came when one of my female patients said, “Dr. Colleen, please find a way to share your knowledge with more women.” It is because of this that I decided to be proactive and create an online class that explains how to do things that benefit our breasts. There is a vast amount of information that is valuable, teachable and achievable.
